At least 25 Palestinians were killed overnight in a series of Israeli strikes across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip, the territory’s Civil Defense reported on Tuesday.

According to its spokesperson, Mahmoud Bassal, the night was “particularly harrowing” for residents of the enclave, marked by an escalation in attacks involving air raids, artillery shelling, and military helicopter strikes.
In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, nine people were killed in a strike targeting a residential building. Two others lost their lives in Rafah, in the southeast, following a drone attack.
In the north, nine deaths were reported after two separate strikes hit the Jabaliya refugee camp. Additionally, five people, including children, were killed in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, when their home was struck.
