The Nigerian national team will face two European opponents in June, before taking part in the Unity Cup, with a view to refining its preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Nigerian national team will play two international friendly matches in June against Poland and Portugal, according to Daily Post. The first match is scheduled for Wednesday, 3 June 2026 against Poland, at a venue yet to be determined. Chelle’s men will then face Portugal a week later, at a stadium that has not yet been officially confirmed.
In the run-up to these fixtures, the Super Eagles are also expected to participate in the Unity Cup, scheduled for May. These various fixtures will serve as preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
