Espoir 2000: “Respectez” Enters the Top 20 on YouTube Côte d’Ivoire
Espoir 2000 is back on the radar in Côte d’Ivoire’s streaming charts. “Respectez,” a track from the album Tableau Blanc, appears in 18th place in the latest available daily YouTube Côte d’Ivoire ranking, dated 6 September 2026, with 58,850 streams counted over the two days covered by the report.

This movement draws attention because the song is not new. In the chart, “Respectez” is marked as a new entry, while Apple Music lists its release date as 7 December 2024. On Spotify, the track has also surpassed 1.5 million cumulative streams.
This resurgence places Espoir 2000 in the middle of a ranking largely dominated by current releases. The Ivorian Top 20 is currently led by Dydy Yeman with “Casse tes reins,” ahead of “Matata” by Tazeboy and “Naigaidjan” by Himra. The zouglou group’s track thus slips into a sequence dominated by a younger generation of the Ivorian urban scene.
“Respectez” is part of the album Tableau BlancThe public credits on Shazam list Pat Sacko and Valéry as performers and Hugues Patrick Ossohou as the writer. In the YouTube ranking of 6 September, the track sits just ahead of “Kali” by Saifond featuring Djelykaba Bintou, while remaining distant from the Top 10.
