During a cabinet meeting, the government approved a total budget of approximately 30 billion CFA francs to significantly improve the living and learning conditions for students, university students, and teaching staff.

This comprehensive package of social measures affects all levels of education. In primary schools, the focus is on nutrition, with a significant expansion of school canteens, increasing coverage from approximately 1.4 million to 1.9 million students.

Regarding higher education and technical training, the executive branch has approved a series of significant advancements, including substantial increases in scholarships, improvements to the university transportation fleet, enhancements to catering services, and the rehabilitation of infrastructure.

The campus infirmaries will also undergo a complete upgrade, featuring modern equipment and qualified staff.

Territorial equity and inclusion are central to this government roadmap. The initiative provides for the exemption of fees for all girls enrolled in secondary technical education programs, as well as the systematic granting of scholarships to university entrance exam candidates with severe disabilities who continue their studies at a public university.
