Guest on the Is This Seat Taken podcast hosted by Chinasa Anukam, the Nigerian producer Don Jazzy detailed the qualities he looks for in a partner. The Afrobeats star highlighted eccentricity, gentleness, and his firm rejection of relationships marked by stress or violence.

The renowned Nigerian producer Don Jazzy opened up about the woman who would fit his expectations during a recent appearance on the Is This Seat Taken podcast, hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam. During the interview, the head of Mavin Records explained that he is attracted to women with a distinctive temperament, notably mentioning a certain eccentricity as a primary criterion. According to him, gentleness — both in demeanor and in personality — is also an essential quality.

« My ideal wife, in order of importance: first of all, you have to be a little eccentric. I don’t know how I discovered that, but that’s the case. » The 43-year-old producer also stressed his total rejection of any form of tension or violence in a relationship. « Secondly, you must be gentle, both physically and mentally. Because if you yell at me, you betray yourself. I don’t like stress. I don’t tolerate stress or violence.»

Very clear on this point, the artist states that he prefers to withdraw immediately as soon as aggressive behavior appears. « From the moment you try to be nonchalant or violent, you will never see me again. You betray yourself », he said. In a previous interview reported by Daily Post Nigeria, Don Jazzy had already confessed to being still single. He explained this situation in particular by his intense investment in his musical career, a lack of discipline – in his own words – to stay faithful to a single partner, as well as by his desire to avoid reliving the failure of his previous marriage.
