Bayern Munich is ready for the big showdown. On the eve of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, the Bavarian club unveiled a squad of 20 players for the trip to the Parc des Princes. Not surprisingly, Vincent Kompany will be able to rely on his core players. Captain Manuel Neuer is available, as is Joshua Kimmich and the ever-present Harry Kane. The Bavarian attack will also rely on Luis Díaz to try to shake the Parisian defense.

The French internationals Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano are also on the trip, as are two of the club’s young prospects, Deniz Ofli and Filip Pavic, who are set to experience the atmosphere of Europe’s big nights. All is not perfect for the Munich side, forced to cope with several notable absences. Raphaël Guerreiro and Serge Gnabry will notably be missing due to injuries, as will Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof. Conversely, Sven Ulreich’s presence, which had been in doubt, is good news for the German staff.
