Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has taken sole possession of the Champions League top scorers’ chart after a masterclass against Olympiacos. The Frenchman, who scored four times in the Madrid side’s spectacular 4-3 win on Wednesday night, now pulls ahead of Victor Osimhen.
With nine goals, Mbappé now has a three-goal lead over the Galatasaray forward, who remains on six after this European matchweek. Before this game, the former Paris Saint-Germain player had five to his name. France’s captain also sits ahead of Erling Haaland (Manchester City) and Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), both credited with five goals.
