American rapper Cardi B has announced the birth of her child, the result of her relationship with football player Stefon Diggs, while she is still involved in divorce proceedings with her ex-husband Offset, with whom she shares three children.
The star revealed the happy news Friday on Instagram, accompanying a photo with an emotional message: “Starting over is never easy, but it was so worth it! I dropped a new album, a new baby came into my life, and it’s one more reason to be the best version of myself, to love myself more so I can continue to give my children the love and life they deserve.”
According to the Daily Post, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in August 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences.” In February 2025, the rapper sought joint custody of their three children, while asking that his ex-wife’s home become the children’s primary residence. In May, in an amended filing, Offset also requested child support as part of the proceedings.
