Cape Verde: a man arrested with over 600 grams of cocaine concealed in his body
Cape Verde’s Judicial Police announced on Tuesday the arrest of a 34-year-old man, who was stopped on Sunday at Praia’s Nelson Mandela International Airport in possession of over 608 grams of cocaine upon arrival on a flight from Guinea-Bissau.

Cape Verde’s Judicial Police announced on Tuesday the arrest of a 34-year-old man, who was stopped on Sunday at Praia’s Nelson Mandela International Airport in possession of over 608 grams of cocaine upon arrival on a flight from Guinea-Bissau.
According to a statement from the authorities, the highly pure drug was concealed inside the suspect’s body in the form of 46 capsules.
After appearing before the Praia District Court on Monday, the suspect was remanded in custody.
