The Benin School Cheetahs beat Niger this Thursday in the final of UFOA-B 2025. The victory gives the Benin team their third title in four appearances and qualifies them for School AFCON 2026.
Benin’s national schoolboys’ team won on Thursday the 4th edition of the UFOA-B tournament, which serves as the qualifier for the African U15 School Football Championship. At the Stade du 04 Août in Ouagadougou, the young Cheetahs defeated Niger after a thrilling final.
After being equalized before the end of regular time, the Beninese ultimately prevailed in the penalty shootout (1-1, 5-4 on penalties), securing the national side’s third crown in four appearances. The victory awards the young Beninese talents a $100,000 prize and opens the door to School AFCON 2026, where they will defend the national colors with the firm intention of continuing their regional dominance.
