BEPC 2025 in Benin: 128,893 candidates in the running
On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 128,893 candidates, including 64,209 girls, accounting for 49.81% of the participants, will begin the Brevet d’Études du Premier Cycle (BEPC) exams across the entire territory.

In a message, the minister in charge of secondary education praised the efforts made by all educational stakeholders during the 2024-2025 school year.
Véronique Tognifodé recalled that the exam, since its reform initiated last year, now includes mandatory tests in Physics-Chemistry-Technology (PCT) and in a second foreign language (LV2), thus strengthening the scientific and linguistic training of learners.
While congratulating the teachers, school principals, educational teams, and parents for their commitment, the minister reassured about the measures taken for a secure, fair, and calm exam. The minister urged the candidates to remain focused and confident, and the supervisors to demonstrate rigor and kindness.
