Benin: the U20 Amazons fine-tune their preparations ahead of the Coupe UFOA B
In full preparation for the Coupe UFOA B U20 Dames 2025, the Beninese squad will play a friendly against AS JFA this Tuesday in Missérété.
A few days before the kick-off of the Coupe UFOA B U20 Dames, the junior Amazons are actively fine-tuning their preparations. The Beninese side will face AS JFA (a top‑division women’s club) in a friendly on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The match will take place at the Centre d’excellence de Missérété starting at 11 a.m.
This friendly will serve as a full-scale test for the young Beninese players, called on to hone their cohesion before competing in the regional tournament. Hosts of this second edition of the Coupe UFOA B, the U20 Amazons will have their work cut out against strong opponents, including Ghana — the defending champions — and Nigeria. Benin will open the tournament on November 7 against the Ghanaian Black Princesses. A match the local players will approach with the ambition of making a successful start in “their” tournament.
