Benin: the ministry sets the National Pedagogical Days for teachers on September 3 and 4, 2026.
As part of the preparations for the 2026-2027 school year, the Ministry of Secondary, Technical, and Vocational Education has announced the organization of the 2026 edition of the National Pedagogical Days for Reflection and Consultation (JPNRC) for teachers.

In a circular note dated August 19, 2026, signed by the Secretary General of the ministry, Cyrille Aïnamon, the institution has scheduled these meetings for Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, 2026.
A structured organization in two phases
Intended for all actors in the Network for Educational Supervision and Animation (REAP), these days will serve as a strategic exchange framework for improving educational offerings.
The first day, scheduled for Thursday, September 3, will focus on developing the cross-cutting themes selected for the upcoming school year. The second day, Friday, September 4, will be dedicated to disciplinary work, bringing together teachers by subject, specialty, or profession.
General mobilization and rigorous follow-up of attendance
The ministry has instructed regional directors to take all necessary measures to summon workshop facilitators as well as teachers from public and private institutions at the various designated gathering sites.
To ensure effective participation, the ministerial authorities have put in place a strict monitoring process: a comprehensive report of absences by site is expected at the General Secretariat of the ministry no later than Friday, September 11, 2026, at exactly 12 noon.
