A hard blow for the Force Cauris for an Emerging Benin (FCBE) party. The party’s Administrative Secretary, Salomon Odjo, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, according to information confirmed by a party official contacted by Le Matinal.

Salomon Odjo was a committed actor in Benin’s political and administrative life. Apart from his responsibilities within the FCBE, he held several strategic positions. Notably, he was the Deputy Director of Infosec, as well as the Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Information, Technologies, and Communication.

The FCBE party has not yet officially communicated on the exact circumstances of his funeral, but tributes are already pouring in from political circles and on social media.
