The intervention was triggered following intelligence reports of drug trafficking by sea in the area.

The vigilance of law enforcement allowed the interception of a Toyota Highlander vehicle used to load psychotropic products. As the police approached, the driver and the individuals responsible for loading the packages fled and are currently being sought.

A thorough search and weighing of the load revealed 265.24 kilograms of Indian hemp. The vehicle and the entire quantity of drugs were seized by the republican police.
