Benin: announced disruptions on the electrical grid on September 1 and 3 in several localities

These temporary interruptions, scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. depending on the areas, are due to planned maintenance work on electrical infrastructure.

For the day of Tuesday, September 1, outages will occur according to the following time slots:

• ​From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: the city of Bohicon and its surroundings, including the neighborhoods of Adandokpodji, Moungnon, Agounnan, as well as the areas of the Prefecture, the Court, and the Abomey City Hall.
• ​From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
  • ​Northern Region: Boko, Sirarou, N’Dali, Nikki, Kalalé, Boukoa and Dounkassa (Parakou); Kassakou, Borodarou, Gounarou, Gogounou, Sori Wara, Bagou and Tankongou (Kandi); Kouandé, Wassa Péhunco and Kérou (Natitingou).
  • ​Central and Southern Region: Dassa city center; Gbodjè, Logbozonkpa, Cocotomey and Dèkoungbé (Abomey-Calavi); Kpomassè, Tokpadomè and Avakpa (Ouidah); Hillacondji, Agoué, Ayiginnou, Ewécondji and Grand-Popo (Lokossa).
• ​From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Djougou and its surrounding localities, including Pénélan, Nioro, Patargo, Alédjo and Séro.
