Benin – Parti Les Démocrates: the crisis meeting resumes on Wednesday.
Officials of the party Les Démocrates will meet again next Wednesday for a new meeting dedicated to the internal situation of the political party. This meeting should allow continuing the discussions started after the announcement of the resignation of former president Thomas Boni Yayi.
The party Les Démocrates is maintaining the series of open consultations in recent days around its future. A new meeting is announced for next Wednesday to continue the exchanges among the top leaders of the political party.

During this meeting, the participants will notably review the report from the delegation dispatched to Parakou to meet the former head of state Thomas Boni Yayi. This mission aimed to discuss with him his decision to resign from the presidency of the party.
The party leaders also plan to address the prospects for the political orientation to give to the party in this context of internal reorganization. The discussions should also touch on issues related to the preparation of the next National Council, considered an important milestone in the life of the party.
