The 12th matchday of the Beninese Ligue 1 delivered its verdict this weekend, confirming Buffles FC’s solidity at the top of the table and highlighting ASPAC’s offensive demonstration in an always competitive league.
In Tchaourou, Buffles FC upheld their status by winning by the smallest margin against Ayéma (1-0). A valuable victory that allows the leaders to keep first place with 27 points, despite constant pressure from their chasers. Behind them, SOBEMAP FC faltered by settling for a goalless draw against Dynamo d’Abomey in Avrankou (0-0), dropping two important points in the race for the summit.
The standout of the day goes to ASPAC. Away in Toffo, the Portuaires outclassed Hodio FC (5-1), recording the widest win of the weekend and asserting their ambitions in the upper part of the table. At the same time, Coton FC secured an important win at USS-Kraké’s ground (2-1), consolidating their place on the podium.
