Benin: deputies summoned this Monday for the opening of an extraordinary budget session

The main work will be devoted to the examination and adoption of the National Assembly’s budget for the 2027 fiscal year.

The announcement of this session was made through a communiqué dated September 2, signed by the President of the National Assembly, Joseph Fifamè Djogbénou. Through this summons, parliamentarians are invited to make themselves available for this important meeting, which will also allow for the official opening in accordance with the institution’s Internal Regulations.

This preparatory step is intended to frame the upcoming deadlines, notably the forthcoming examination of the general state budget project for the same fiscal year.
