Benin: La Fouine Climbs 98 Spots to Top Apple Music Videos
La Fouine has risen to the top of the chart Apple Music music videos in Benin with a track that is thirteen years old. In the 8 September 2026 chart compiled by Afrobeats Wire, the video for “Quand je partirai” jumped from 99th to 1rd place in one day, a leap of 98 spots.

The French rapper surpasses “Marie Koba” by LaD, “THAT GIRL!” by Darkoo and Asake, as well as “Forgiveness” by Asake. The achievement is all the more surprising as it is not based on a new release: Apple Music lists “Quand je partirai” as a hip-hop/rap video from 2013.
The track is from the album “Drôle de parcours,” released on 4 February 2013. Apple Music’s official listing shows a project of 18 tracks, with “Quand je partirai” also featured among the associated videos.
The song continues to be streamed on other platforms as well. As of 8 September, Kworb’s public tracking recorded over 23 million cumulative streams on Spotify for “Quand je partirai,” with 9,833 daily streams on its latest count.
Two La Fouine Videos in the Benin Top 10
The rise is not limited to a single video. “Ma meilleure” by La Fouine also appears at 7th place in the same Apple Music Videos chart in Benin, as a new entry. The Top 10 thus features two videos from the rapper amid much more recent releases.
As of 8 September, Afrobeats Wire credits “Quand je partirai” with a peak at number one and two days on the Benin chart. “Ma meilleure” reached a peak of 7th place upon its entry.
