Benin: Key decisions of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, December 17, 2025

The Council of Ministers met on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, under the chairmanship of Mr. Patrice TALON, President of the Republic, Head of State, Head of Government. The following decisions were made:

Creation of the Beninese Distance Learning Agency and approval of its statutes ;

Decree amending Decree 2024-1295 of 06 November 2024 on the conditions for importing, exporting and distributing wholesale or retail health products other than medicines ;

Decree establishing the institutional framework for the implementation of the Dogo-bis Project .

COMMUNICATIONS

Recruitment and training of 1850 young people for the benefit of the Beninese Armed Forces ;

Contracting for the construction works of the Cultural and Creative Quarter (QCC) of Cotonou ;

Declaration by the Constitutional Court that the law revising the Constitution is in conformity with the Constitution .
