The decision came shortly after 1 a.m. After several hours of questioning, CRIET ordered that Candide Azannaï be remanded in custody. This measure now deprives the president of the party Restaurer l’Espoir of his freedom.
Arrested on Friday, December 12, 2025, Candide Azannaï was placed in police custody before being brought before the judge in charge of liberty hearings on Friday, December 19. The charges against him include “conspiracy against state authority” and “incitement to rebellion.”
