Benin: appointments announced at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday

President Patrice Talon presided this Wednesday, 12 November 2025, over the weekly session of the Council of Ministers at the Palais de la Marina.

During this government meeting, appointments were announced at the Ministry of Living Environment and Transport, responsible for Sustainable Development, as well as at the Ministry of Energy, Water and Mines.

At the Ministry of Living Environment and Transport, Mr. Euloge Adda has been appointed Inspector General of the ministry, while Mr. Constant Houndénou now holds the post of Technical Advisor for Sustainable Development.

In the water and energy sector, Mr. Sylvain Adokpo Migan takes the helm of the Société béninoise des Infrastructures de l’Eau (SoBIE S.A.) as Director General.

These appointments reflect the government’s desire to strengthen governance and administrative efficiency in strategic sectors for Benin’s sustainable development.
