The project includes accommodation units that meet standards, an equipped infirmary, areas dedicated to visits and modernized facilities for staff. The goal is to improve detention conditions, strengthen security and provide a setting more conducive to the daily management of inmates.
This development is part of the national program to modernize the penitentiary estate. The stated priorities are reducing overcrowding, improving dignity in detention and implementing measures that support reintegration.
