The Nigerian singer wore a leather skirt and a matching bralette, layered with a light shirt left open. She completed the ensemble with a Tabby bag, one of Coach’s signature models, maintaining a sleek line despite the mix of textures.

The choice works primarily through balance. The leather adds structure, while the light shirt softens the overall look and prevents a total look effect. For a more casual version, the same construction can be interpreted with a tank top or bodysuit under a loose shirt, without replicating the bralette worn on the runway.

The show marked Coach’s 85th anniversary. Stuart Vevers presented a Spring 2027 collection that revisits several historical codes of the brand, featuring Turnlock bags, leather jackets, lamé skirts, and a series of anniversary pieces available for purchase immediately after the presentation.

Ayra Starr was among the front-row guests, alongside Troye Sivan and singer flowerovlove. British Vogue also included her in its selection of celebrities attending the opening shows of this Fashion Week.

For the singer, this appearance extends her increasingly visible relationship with international fashion, while still reflecting her ties to the Nigerian scene, which she regularly incorporates into her looks and collaborations.

New York Fashion Week continues until September 16, with Spring-Summer 2027 collections being showcased at various locations across Manhattan.
