AFCON 2025: Morocco’s squad includes Achraf Hakimi

Morocco’s national team coach, Walid Regragui, published this Thursday the list of players selected for AFCON 2025. Achraf Hakimi is part of the squad.

As host of AFCON 2025, Morocco unveiled this Thursday its list of players selected for the competition. Coach Walid Regragui has indeed just announced a group of 28 Atlas Lions for the African tournament. And of course, the team’s key players are present, such as Azzedine Ounahi, Yacine Bounou, Nayef Aguerd and Achraf Hakimi. Doubtful for the competition after his serious club injury, the 2025 African Ballon d’Or will finally be part of the continental event.
