AFCON 2025: Gabon’s squad with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Gabon national team coach Thierry Mouyouma has unveiled his list of players selected for the final tournament of AFCON 2025. Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is part of the squad.

Also in the running for the highly coveted trophy, Gabon announced its list of players called up for AFCON 2025. Drawn into a very tough Group F, the Leopards will face Ivory Coast, the reigning champions, Cameroon and Mozambique. Big tests for the Gabonese, who will have to pull out all the stops if they hope to finish top.

With that objective in mind, coach Thierry Mouyouma released the final list of players selected. The squad includes captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and key players Guelor Kanga, Didier Ndong, Dénis Bouanga, Jim Allevinah and Ecuele Manga. As a reminder, AFCON 2025 will be held in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. Gabon will kick off their tournament against Cameroon on 24 December at the Grand Stade Adrar in Agadir.
