The Autonomous National Electoral Commission (Céna) published on Wednesday the provisional list of political parties that met the filing requirements for the 2026 legislative elections.

The Autonomous National Electoral Commission (Céna) published on Wednesday the provisional list of political parties that met the filing requirements for the 2026 legislative elections.
Five parties have passed this first step. They are: FCBE, UPR, Bloc Républicain (BR), Moele-Bénin and Les Démocrates (LD).
According to reports, these parties submitted dossiers deemed compliant with the criteria established by the electoral code.
This stage marks the official start of the electoral process ahead of the renewal of the National Assembly in 2026. The coming days will be decisive for the parties in the running, engaged in the final stretch before the official opening of the electoral campaign.
