2026 legislative elections: FCBE kicks off candidate filings at CENA
La Force Cauris pour un Bénin Émergent (FCBE) presented itself this morning at the headquarters of the Autonomous National Electoral Commission (CENA), thus becoming the first political party to file its declaration of candidacy for the legislative elections of January 11, 2026.

La Force Cauris pour un Bénin Émergent (FCBE) presented itself this morning at the headquarters of the Autonomous National Electoral Commission (CENA), thus becoming the first political party to file its declaration of candidacy for the legislative elections of January 11, 2026.
Led by its top official, former minister Paul Hounkpè, the delegation handed over to CENA officials all the documents required to register the party’s list.
Officially launched last Saturday, November 15, the application submission phase will end this Wednesday at midnight.
The other political formations — namely Bloc Républicain, Union Progressiste le Renouveau, Les Démocrates and Moele-Bénin — are still expected by the officials deployed by the Autonomous National Electoral Commission.
