The Commission électorale nationale autonome (CENA) is modernizing the electoral observation framework with the official launch, on Friday, 5 December 2025, of eAccréditation, a platform entirely dedicated to the digital management of accreditation requests for national and international observers.

According to the institution, this solution aims to simplify administrative procedures, eliminate geographical constraints and speed up the processing of applications.

The CENA specifies that the tool is secure, compliant with international standards and allows interested organizations to submit their requests online, as well as to draw up their observer deployment plans without constraint.
