2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup (Qualifiers): Benin’s squad to face Egypt

The head coach of the U20 Amazons, Abdoulaye Ouzérou, unveiled this Wednesday in Cotonou the list of 24 players selected for the double-header against Egypt, counting toward the third round of qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, set to be held in Poland. Continuing from the previous round, the coach kept the core of the group that has already proven itself, while making a few adjustments. New faces have thus made their appearance, alongside the notable return of Fidèle Toudonou, who was absent for the previous fixture. A blend of experience and fresh talent aimed at meeting the Egyptian challenge.

The first leg is scheduled for 6 February in Cairo, in what promises to be a hostile atmosphere, ahead of a decisive return leg set for 13 February in Lomé, Togo.
