2025 U17 World Cup: Burkina Faso and Morocco advance to the quarter-finals

After the final round of 16 matches played on Tuesday, Burkina Faso and Morocco booked their places in the next round.
Burkina Faso’s U17s dominated Uganda, while Morocco’s U17s eliminated Mali, thus giving the continent two representatives among the tournament’s top eight teams. Brazil, Switzerland, Italy and Austria complete the quarter-final lineup after their respective wins in this knockout phase. The U17 World Cup will continue in Qatar until the end of the month.
