Victor Osimhen named Athlete of the Year at the GQ Türkiye Awards 2025

Victor Osimhen was named Sportsman of the Year at the GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards 2025. The Galatasaray star received the trophy Wednesday night during a particularly polished ceremony, recognizing his decisive role in the domestic double secured by the Istanbul club last season.

Having scored 37 goals and provided 7 assists across all competitions last season, the 26-year-old Nigerian international has continued that form with 11 goals in 14 matches under Okan Buruk this season. He thus becomes the first Nigerian player to be awarded this prestigious distinction.
