Deputies from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office first responded to the 200 block of Ashland Drive. There, they discovered the injured youth, whose condition was still reported as critical in the latest updates from authorities.

While continuing their checks in the neighborhood, investigators found several deceased victims inside nearby homes. The sheriff’s office confirmed a toll of at least four dead, without revealing their identities or specifying any potential connections between the victims.

Kaegan Jude Solet, 47, a resident of Houma, has been identified as a “person of interest” in the investigation. Authorities emphasized that this designation does not constitute an arrest or a criminal charge. He had not been located as of their last update.
