Tchaourou: young man’s lifeless body discovered at the bus station
A tragedy struck the municipality of Tchaourou on Wednesday evening. The lifeless body of a young man, about twenty years old, was found at the town’s bus station.

According to initial testimony gathered on site, the victim, described as a foreigner, was discovered around 10 p.m. by users of the terminal, lying on the ground in conditions described as precarious.
Alerted, elements of the Republican Police quickly went to the scene to carry out the usual on-site assessment. The body showed no visible injuries, according to first observations. The identity of the deceased remains unknown at this time.
Present at the scene, Adamou Sika Abou, president of the Tchaourou bus station, and Abdoulaye Issa, head of the Damagourou neighborhood, gave their accounts. The tragedy caused strong emotion among drivers and local residents.
In response to the situation, the terminal officials now invite foreigners to register with the neighborhood chiefs of their area of residence to make identification easier in case of an incident. Adamou Sika Abou, president of UNACOB Parc A, and Abdoulaye Issa, head of the Damagourou neighborhood, call for vigilance and everyone’s cooperation to strengthen security within the community.
