State of the Nation address: Patrice Talon scheduled to appear before the National Assembly on December 23, 2025.

This intervention, scheduled at the Palace of the Governors in Porto-Novo, is in accordance with the provisions of Article 72 of the Constitution, which stipulates that the head of state addresses the national legislature once a year.

The address comes in a national context marked by several recent events, notably the foiled coup attempt of December 7, 2025 and the recent promulgation of the revised Constitution.
