Senegal: peanut oil exports reach their highest level in six years in 2025

According to data from the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), published in its annual report on external trade, the country placed 22,441 tons of crude peanut oil on international markets in 2025.

This result constitutes the best level recorded by Senegal in the last six years, according to available information. The report does not specify, in the communicated elements, the total financial value of these exports or the distribution by recipient country.

Peanuts remain one of Senegal’s main agricultural crops. They feed both domestic consumption, crushing activities, and exports of processed products.
