Presidential Election in Benin: Renaud Agbodjo and Jude Lodjou definitively removed from the race
The verdict has fallen. The Constitutional Court of Benin issued its decision this evening on the electoral appeals, fully aligning with the conclusions of the CENA.

The Court confirmed that no law was violated by the Electoral Commission, thereby declaring the appeals filed by the contesting candidate duos inadmissible, including that of the main opposition party, “Les Démocrates” (LD).
The Constitutional Court therefore finalizes the list of candidates for the 2026 presidential election, pending the results of the medical examination, as follows:
Duo 1: Romuald Wadagni – Mariam Talata
Duo 2: Paul Hounkpè – Judicaël Hounwanou
