Parakou: Unauthorized event interrupted by the Republican Police
This Sunday, the Republican Police intervened at the open-air museum in Parakou to end a festive gathering organized without prior authorization.

The event, which attracted a large crowd mainly composed of young people, was stopped by the decision of the Chief Commissioner himself, present at the site.
According to the information gathered, this action follows several irregularities: the absence of administrative authorization, excessive noise nuisances reported by residents, as well as clues suggesting the use of illicit substances.
With this operation, the new Chief Commissioner affirms his desire to continue the strict policy of his predecessor, by ensuring the strict respect of laws and regulations in force, particularly in terms of public security and administrative order.
