This meeting was initiated by the party Les Démocrates, following the Constitutional Court’s decision regarding Les Démocrates’ appeal concerning the endorsement of Deputy Michel Sodjinou, which is the subject of a controversial ruling before the Court of First Instance (TPI) of Cotonou.
The meeting, which lasted one hour, aimed for the two politicians to find ways and means to ease the political tension arising from Les Démocrates’ difficulties in taking part in the upcoming presidential elections.
At the end of this meeting, no official statement was made, and the content of the exchanges remains confidential.
