A Career Rich in Europe

Alexis Sanchez began his professional career in Chile, with Cobreloa and Colo-Colo, before moving to River Plate in Argentina. He then spent nearly two decades in Europe, where he established himself as one of the most recognized South American forwards of his generation. The Chilean notably played for Udinese and Inter Milan in Italy, FC Barcelona and Sevilla in Spain, as well as Arsenal and Manchester United in England.

He also played for Olympique de Marseille in France. His last European experience took him to Sevilla FC, before moving to CF Montreal. At 37, Alexis Sanchez brings all his experience to the Major League Soccer club, which hopes to benefit from his background at the highest level.
