​A shared responsibility in the face of digital transformation

​In the context of heightened digital transformation, Benin and Togo intend to strengthen their institutional collaboration. During the visit of his Togolese counterpart, Luciano Hounkponou, president of the Beninese APDP, recalled the major opportunities that technologies represent for national economies and the modernization of public services.

​The president of the APDP, however, emphasized the “major responsibility” imposed by these innovations, stating that they must “remain at the service of the human being, their dignity, their privacy, and their freedoms.”

He insisted on the convergence of the missions entrusted to both regulatory authorities, whose primary purpose remains the effective protection of populations.
