Benin: the success rates for the 2026 CEP by department revealed
The national pass rate for the Primary Education Certificate (CEP) 2026 is now known. Following this, the Ministry of Maternal and Primary Education has also released the performance recorded in the twelve departments of Benin.

The Primary Education Certificate (CEP), June 2026 session, recorded a national pass rate of 90.17%. This year, 286,995 candidates, including 149,424 boys and 138,571 girls, took the exams in 860 centers spread across the entire national territory.
In addition to the national rate, the Ministry of Maternal and Primary Education revealed the performances by department. Borgou topped the list with a success rate of 97.09%. It is followed by Collines (95.99%), Donga (95.63%), and Plateau (95.17%).
Zou (91.21%), Couffo (90.98%), and Littoral (90.82%) also displayed results above the national average. Below this average are Atlantique (89.10%), Alibori (88.02%), Ouémé (85.48%), Mono (83.78%), and Atacora (83.64%).
These results confirm a good overall performance by candidates at the national level, with variations in success rates from one department to another.
