Benin – Reintegration of dismissed teachers: Salimane Karimou urgently calls 19 agents to report
The Ministry of Early and Primary Education has issued an urgent call to nineteen dismissed teachers, inviting them to report to their respective departmental offices as soon as possible.

This measure, announced through a statement signed by Minister Salimane Karimou and broadcast on national waves, aims at their reintegration into the public service.
It arises from the decision of the Council of Ministers dated January 18, 2023, which provided for the administrative regularization of teachers who had been dismissed for not participating in the diagnostic evaluation. According to the ministry, those concerned have recently expressed their desire to rejoin the education system.
Out of a total of twenty-seven affected agents, only nineteen have responded favorably to the measure. They are now required to complete administrative formalities by Friday, July 25, 2025 at the latest. Beyond this deadline, any teacher who has not resumed service will be considered to have given up their reinstatement.
The ministry invites those concerned to mobilize without delay, emphasizing that their return to the classrooms will contribute to strengthening the national education system.
