The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Employment Promotion, in charge of Vocational Training, announces the opening of registration records for public Vocational and Apprenticeship Training Centers (CFPA) for the 2026-2027 training year.

Document submissions started on Monday, August 17, and will continue until Friday, September 25, 2026, at 5 PM. This measure is aimed at young people, artisans, master trainers, and parents of students.
Territorial Implementation and Proposed Courses
A total of thirteen public CFPAs across the national territory welcome candidates: Abomey, Agoua, Agouagon, Athiémé, Covè, Djidja, Dogbo, Djougou, Kouandé, Nikki, Pahou, Sè, and Zè. A complete list of the trades taught is displayed in each center and is also available on the ministry’s website.
These programs prepare candidates for two distinct diplomas: the Certificate of Qualification in Trades (CQM) and the Certificate of Professional Qualification (CQP).
Access Criteria and Application Conditions
The selection conditions vary depending on the diploma sought:
For the Certificate of Qualification in Trades (CQM), applicants must be at least 14 years old by December 31, 2026, and show genuine motivation for learning a trade with a view to sustainable professional integration.
For the Certificate of Professional Qualification (CQP), the requirements are more specific. The candidate must be out of school, hold the Primary Education Certificate (CEP), have completed at least 9th grade or an equivalent level required for the chosen specialty, be at least 14 years old by December 31, 2026, and pass the selection test.

The application file must include:
- A registration form specifying the trade, training, and chosen institution;
- A copy of the birth certificate or any equivalent civil status document;
- A payment receipt for the application processing fee set at 1,000 CFA francs.
The registration form is available for pickup at the submission centers or can be downloaded freely from the ministry’s website. The application processing fee can be paid at the designated submission sites or directly to the public treasury at the account specified by the authority.
The strict deadline for submission is set for Friday, September 25, 2026, at 5 PM, ahead of the official start date in the public CFPAs scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2026.
