Benin: extension of the registration deadline for entrance exams to public university schools

This decision comes from a statement published on August 31, 2026, by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The submission of physical application files for this 2026 session takes place in specific centers distributed across the national territory, notably at the École normale supérieure of Natitingou, the Institute of Training and Research in Population Matters of Parakou, as well as the École normale supérieure of Technical Education of Lokossa.

Candidates can also go to the National Higher Institute of Mathematical Engineering and Applied Physics of Abomey, the National Medical-Sanitary Institute of Cotonou, or the École normale supérieure of Porto-Novo.

The ministry specifies that this reopening measure does not in any way alter the schedule originally set for the written tests of the various exams. Candidates already registered are also invited to verify their status as well as the composition lists with the relevant services.
