Benin: lifeless body found at Godomey PK14

According to a security source present at the scene, no signs of physical violence were observed on the victim.

The deceased, not yet formally identified, is said to be known by local residents as a sex worker living in the area. By mid-afternoon, the body was still at the scene, awaiting identification by a relative.

Authorities have opened an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the death. They say that if no family member comes forward, the body will be handed over to the municipal authorities for burial.
