Benin – Judiciary: 80 new justice auditors incorporated into the corps
The Council of Ministers, convened in a regular session this Wednesday, July 2, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Head of State, Patrice Talon, has confirmed the integration of eighty justice auditors into the Beninese judiciary.

This decision marks an important step for strengthening the judicial staff. The auditors in question came from the February 2023 session of the recruitment competition for one hundred justice auditors. After their admission, they began a two-year training at the School for Judicial Professions Training (EFPJ), officially started on May 2, 2023.
The integrated class is the third to graduate from this school. It includes fifty-six men and twenty-four women. After their practical training, the 80 laureates were deemed ready to join the ranks of the magistrates.
The integration of these auditors aims to bridge the gap in judicial staff in the Beninese jurisdictions. It should enable better case handling, reduce judicial delays, and overall improvement of access to justice for citizens.
