The Ministry of Maternal and Primary Education published, this Friday, the results of the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP), June 2026 session. At the national level, 90.17% of candidates have been declared admitted.

This result marks an improvement compared to the 2025 session, which recorded a pass rate of 89.81%. The increase, although moderate, indicates a new rise in the performance of candidates for this exam, which marks the end of primary schooling.

In total, 286,995 candidates participated in the exams this year. They were distributed across 860 testing centers throughout the country, including 149,424 boys and 138,571 girls. The session also recorded the participation of 97 candidates with specific needs, spread across 13 adapted centers.

With this pass rate of 90.17%, the vast majority of candidates are now expected to attend secondary schools to continue their educational journey.

Additionally, the government platform eRÉSULTATS is the quickest way to find out if a candidate has been admitted, without having to go to the testing centers. Here is the step-by-step process to carry out your search in just a few clicks:

Step 1: Access the official portal

Open your internet browser (from a smartphone or a computer) and go to the official site for exams and competitions in Benin at the following address:  https://eresultats.bj/examens 

Step 2: Select the exam

Once on the homepage of the platform:

  • Look for the list of available exams (usually visible on the homepage or via the “Results” tab).
  • Click on the option “CEP 2026” to access the database specific to this session.

Step 3: Enter the candidate’s identifiers

In the search field that appears on the screen:

  • Enter the complete table number of the student (make sure to avoid typographical errors).
  • If the platform requests it, complete with the identifier or any other required information to validate the query.

Step 4: Validate and display the result

Click on the validation button (often represented by “ Search ” or a magnifying glass). The candidate’s information as well as their admission status (Admitted or Rejected) will instantly appear on your screen.
