Located in the Dodja neighborhood, the members of this group are being pursued for aggravated theft, conspiracy, and trafficking of psychoactive substances.

A well-practiced method between robberies and burglaries

Investigations carried out by the law enforcement have revealed the double strategy employed by this organized gang:

Public assaults: Some suspects pretended to be motorcycle taxi drivers in order to rob their passengers at knifepoint.

Burglaries of homes: The group used master keys to break into premises and loot the residences.

At the time of arrest, the suspected leader of the network was found in possession of a quantity of Indian hemp as well as Tramadol tablets.

Significant seizure of stolen goods and call to victims

The search conducted at the home of the suspects revealed a wide inventory of fraudulently obtained items, including furniture, clothing, gas bottles, porcelain dishware, and numerous identity documents belonging to others.

One initial victim was able to formally identify some of their personal belongings among the seized items.

In light of the scale of the seizures, Chief Commissioner Sèdé invites anyone who has been wronged by this type of crime to come to the Togba police station to identify their belongings.
